Moms 7-Layer Salad

1 head lettuce chopped

1 green pepper chopped

2 or 3 stalks celery chopped

1/1/2 cup frozen peas

More or less of above based on taste and size of dish.

Layer in dish starting with lettuce

Directions:

Mix 1 pint of sour cream, ½ cup mayo with 3 Tbsp of sugar. Cook and crumble bacon. Layer on top of the salad mixture, then top with shredded cheddar cheese and 4 Tbsp of finely grated parmesan cheese. Refrigerate till serving. Tip: don’t make days ahead as the vegetables/salad portion will become very watery.
